Got a name of retailer for artcam? Someone other than Shopbot. I have mastercam and just pay a maintenance fee every year for support and new versions. Many thanks for your kind words of support, your offer of lunch and a beer, and for accepting my previous post as a wrote:ĭo you guys have a newer version of artcam that is not subscription based. I'm very pleased to hear that your reported issue has now been resolved. I have to say for a company and someone that don't support the older versions you did a heck of a job.

Thanks Dillion, That just made me realize that I just got a new computer a few months ago and I had to install artcam from my disc and I didn't do any of the updates. Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation. Otherwise, please be so kind as to accept my response as a solution. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. If these steps resolve your reported issue for this particular file, then I would suggest that there is an issue with the drive or folder in which the file is currently stored.

Please try copying your Fort McCook Trail sign.art file to the Windows clipboard, pasting it to your computer's desktop, and then opening the file in ArtCAM Pro 2008 from there. I have no issues with opening your supplied Fort McCook Trail sign.art file in ArtCAM Pro 2008.SP6 (build 357), as shown in the screenshot below: Nothing in this folder will open except for new files that was created yesterday. I put all of my customers files in a folder with their name on it. I can open every file all the way back to 2007. Here is one of the files that won't open. Please attach one of your problematic ArtCAM Model files (*.art) when replying to this post so that we can investigate further on your behalf. That said, the Autodesk Community is primarily a peer-to-peer network, so the community will almost certainly help you with your reported issue. The ArtCAM 2008 product range is no longer sold or supported, and since you do not have an active subscription or maintenance plan for an Autodesk ArtCAM product, you do not have access to service from Autodesk Support.

All the other files from last year will open. I tried to open some older files from last year and get a ( Failed to read model from file ) error.īut its only in one folder. I'm assuming that they no longer support the 2008 version.

Overall, this new version must be installed on all computers running Windows 8 and 8.1, so download the Weather app right now if you don't want to get it from the store and you wish to install it manually.Hi to the Autodesk Community and the ArtCAM wrote:

Of course, the update is being delivered to both desktops and tablets, as the app also supports Windows RT, which is Microsoft's version of Windows 8 designed for ARM-based devices. Get current weather information for your location and for the other places you care about, like a family member’s city or your next vacation destination,” the app description reads. Compare weather from multiple providers, check radar maps and view historical weather. “Designed for Windows, featuring beautiful weather images, the Weather app puts control at your fingertips. The feature lineup remains unchanged, so you get the same powerful tools to access the 10-day and hourly forecasts for any configuration location, view the world weather, get alerts, see maps, and stay up to date with the forecast using the live tile. The Weather app, which is powered by Bing, received a few improvements today, most of which are addressing bugs and issues found in the previous builds. If you're running Windows 8.1, there are a few updates waiting for you to download, including a new version of the Weather app that's available on both desktops and tablets.
